privacy, plainly
the short version: we collect what an order needs, nothing more. and we track nobody.
Who we are. Jsibella, a small upcycling studio in Prague, Czech Republic. For anything about your data, write to ciao.jsibella@gmail.com.
What we collect, and why. When you place an order we ask for your name, email and shipping address, and we know which pieces you bought. We use this solely to fulfil and deliver your order and to be able to help if something goes wrong with it (the legal basis is performance of a contract). If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can answer you.
Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. on their secure payment page. Your card number is entered with Stripe and never touches our website or our storage at any point. Stripe processes payment data as an independent regulated payment institution. See the Stripe privacy policy for the details.
What we deliberately don't do. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers, and we keep no marketing lists. We never profile you or set tracking cookies. The shopping bag is remembered only inside your own browser (local storage) and never leaves your device until you check out. What you type at checkout also stays in your browser and reaches us only when you send the order. Fonts and all other files are served from our own site, so nothing on these pages calls Google or any ad network.
Who helps us run the shop. The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., which, like any hosting provider, may process short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to operate and protect the service. Order and payment records live in our Stripe account. Our mailbox runs on Google's Gmail, so emails you send us are processed by Google. To deliver a parcel we give the carrier your name and address, nothing more. Netlify, Stripe and Google are US companies; where data crosses the Atlantic it is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU's standard contractual clauses. That's the whole list. There is no database of customers anywhere else.
How long we keep things. Order records are kept for as long as Czech accounting and tax law requires, then they're gone. Emails are kept as long as the conversation is alive.
Your rights. You can ask what we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. You can object to processing too. Just email ciao.jsibella@gmail.com and we'll sort it out. Complaints can go to your data-protection authority as well (in the Czech Republic that's the ÚOOÚ, uoou.gov.cz).
